**By booking an appointment with Haus of Hounds, you agree to the following:

Payment:

Full payment is required upon collection of your dog. I currently accept cash, card payment or bank transfer (bank transfer to be paid before collection)

Drop off/Collection time:

As I work on a 1-to-1 zero crate basis and to ensure there is no cross overs of clients, dogs are to be dropped off at the scheduled appointment time only, any more than 15 minutes late may mean I have to cancel your appointment and a 100% cancellation fee will incur. This is to avoid any rushed grooming, ensures there is no stress to me or the dog during the allocated slot and protects the running of a small business. All dogs must be collected within 15 minutes of being notified the groom is complete. A late collection fee of £10 per additional 15 minutes will apply after this grace period. I kindly ask you notify me of any late drop offs/collections asap so I can accommodate accordingly.

Cancellations/No shows:

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment/no shows will be subject to 100% of the grooming fee. You will not be able to rebook your dog in again until that fee is paid. I kindly ask that you notify me as early as possible if you need to reschedule. Any continued no shows/late cancellations will result in a deposit being taken for any future bookings.

Fleas:

If your dog is found to have fleas, an additional fee will be charged to cover the cost of using a specialist flea shampoo, deep cleaning and sanitisation of the salon. I kindly ask that your dog is up to date with all flea and worming treatments and fully vaccinated to avoid any infectious diseases being passed through the salon.

Matting:

Dogs with matted coats will incur an additional charge, depending on the severity. In cases of significant matting, grooming may require shaving for the dog's comfort and welfare under the Animal Welfare Act 2006. You also understand that if your pet is severely matted, there is an increased risk of a rash occurring, hematomas and cuts/nicks may also occur as well as unearthing any existing skin conditions, Haus of Hounds will not be held liable for this.

Welfare:

The welfare and safety of your dog is my top priority. If at any point your dog becomes severely distressed or aggressive, I reserve the right to stop the groom for their wellbeing/my safety, 100% of the grooming fee will still be charged.

Assessment and Communication:

Any extra charges due to fleas, matting, or behavioural concerns will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, photo/video evidence will be provided and a phone call will be made before proceeding with additional services or charges.

Social Media:

By booking an appointment with Haus of Hounds, you accept that any pictures or videos taken of your dog during the groom can be uploaded to my socials/website. If you do not wish to have your dog photographed/videoed then please notify us on drop off :)
